Our Structure and Governance
Our Mission:
Science of Freedom Foundation empowers immigrant communities through education on freedom, civil rights, and democratic values. We work to strengthen civic understanding, resilience, and informed participation in American society while confronting authoritarian and totalitarian threats.
Science of Freedom Foundation is governed by an Executive Board, supported by a management team and an advisory board. The Executive Board provides strategic direction, oversight, and accountability. Management runs daily operations and programs such as Roadmap to Freedom and civic education. The Advisory Board contributes expertise in law, media, community organizing, and public affairs.

Alexandra Gerson– Advisor
Brings deep expertise in immigrant resettlement, community integration, and media production, supported by master’s degrees in economics and counseling and over two decades of work serving the Russian-Jewish community in Vancouver.
Yuri Dashevsky – Advisor
a respected community leader and advocate whose long-standing work in the Russian-Jewish diaspora reflects his deep commitment to education, cultural preservation, and civic engagement.
