The name of the IFAK Tactical First Aid Kit is an acronym for the full name in English: Individual First Aid Kit.

The IFAK tactical first aid kit, depending on the configuration, may contain the following set of tools necessary to rescue the wounded in extreme conditions:

Tourniquet type SICH
World’s No. 1 Bleed Stopper

Israeli bandage 4″ or 6″
Compression bandage “Israeli” is one of the best means that replaces a pressure bandage, an individual bandage and an IPP dressing package.
Due to the unique design, the bandage is applied even with one hand without any aids. The best means of self-help, especially when wounded in one of the hands of the victim.

Hemostatic bandage (Krovospas/QuikClot Combat Gauze)
It is a corrugated bandage with hemostatic impregnation, designed specifically to stop heavy bleeding, as well as for tight wound packing.
The bandage is designed in such a way that it is visible on the radiograph, allowing you to easily identify the agent in the wound channel. Hemostatic does not exfoliate from the bandage, guaranteeing high-quality tamponade and bleeding relief.

Bandage for tamponade (NAR Compressed Gauze)
Packing bandage is a roll of high-quality cotton gauze, vacuum-packed for sterility and compactness, designed to stop bleeding and bandage wounds.

Nasopharyngeal airway + lubricant
A nasopharyngeal airway is needed to restore airway patency. It is essentially a flexible latex tube used to enter the nasal passage. If you lose consciousness, your tongue may fall back, causing suffocation. The introduction of an air duct into the nasal cavity during a wound allows you to save the life of the victim, creating an independent air duct for breathing.

Occlusal Dressing (Asherman Chest Seal/Beacon Chest Seal/HyFin® Vent Chest Seal)
An effective remedy for open pneumothorax caused by a penetrating wound of the chest.

Decompression needle type (H&H Tension Pneumothorax Needle)
Allows you to release excess air with pneumothorax.

Anti-burn bandage (Opіkun/Burnshield)
First aid for burns and open wounds, accelerates healing and prevents complications after burns and wounds.

Plaster in a roll
It does not need much advertising, additional fixation of dressings, bandages, prevention of chafing and calluses.
Scissors Paramedical
Quickly and safely cut clothing on the victim for quick access to the wound.

Permanent marker
It is necessary for fixing the time of applying the tourniquet, filling out the card of the wounded.

Disposable paramedic gloves
Protect the person providing assistance. It is better to have two pairs, wear one pair over the second, drawing a cross on the back of the hands of the first pair. If the upper gloves are suddenly torn, you immediately see a cross and understand that you are wearing only one pair of gloves and you should be especially careful.

Chemical light source (CIS) (Cyalume)
Autonomous light source for helping the wounded in the dark, identification, etc. Depending on the model, it is guaranteed to provide illumination from half an hour to a day.

Rescue blanket
The rescue blanket is a thin polyethylene film coated with golden and silver metallized coating on different sides, thanks to which it reflects up to 80% of the heat emitted by the body and allows you to maintain the necessary thermoregulation, avoiding overheating or hypothermia.

Card of the wounded
A personal card for the prompt identification of wounds and injuries, allows you to speed up the process of medical care upon admission to a medical facility.
